Melissa started working in optical when she was 20 years old, and 20 years later she is still loving the career path that she has taken. When she first began in this field she started as the doctor’s assistant and then soon moved to being an optician. She took the National Certification tests at the University of Utah (ABO & NCLE). Here at Magna Family Eyecare, Melissa specializes in selecting, fitting, and dispensing eyewear and contact lenses. She is here to provide you with information on lens designs to best suit your visual needs, ensuring that you have the best visual experience with your new eyewear.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her daughter who is 24 and her son who is 16. She enjoys sports (tennis and basketball especially), being out in nature, long road trips, camping, rock hunting, and just having fun.
